Many Memories, Set 3
Wondrous visualizations of the Joy of Learning in the faces and works of youth who had the opportunity to be in Classroom 16 with Mr. Stathis.
Think, Feel, and Do Great Work!
This is Christopher and Robert Bearrunner. We called them "The Cousins" after this day when they happened, unplanned by coincidence, to have shown-up with the same clothes...and when they stood side-by-side to read together in unison, truly they looked like cousins but weren't really related at all!
Thinking when presented with a challenging question. He seems to be enjoying the challenge! This is Mr. Stathis's son, Ahimsa, who was in Classroom 16 the first year.
Ahimsa, reading aloud... dressed-up because it was Friday, which was Dance Club day after school. (And that's Nikki in the background, a VERY SMART girl!) Mr. Stathis taught International Folk Dancing in such an enjoyable time to end the school-week for those who learned to love this kind of Dancing together. See these 2 LINKS for Dancing Photos!
Maggie and Dezire explain their understanding of the Science (Geology) of people's invention of a water-well...how water can be brought-up from far below the ground to the surface for drinking, bathing, etc. And all that's happening beneath our precious, life-giving Planet Earth that the eye can't see!
Art by Noah. Doing Art was an important part of Classroom 16, for Art beautifies the world, and helps us appreciate the beauty of Nature, of People, and even the feelings in stories when Art is done to illustrate a story scene.
